An Owl in our Backyard

We were getting ready for Church and doing hair at the dining room table when we spotted an owl in a tree in our backyard. I got a picture through the window, but thought I might like to take one closer. Then he flew to our back patio and sat there while I carefully got my shot. Finally he ended up in a tree near our house for the shot in the sunlight, and then on a nearby dogwood. After that he flew away. What a neat experience to see an owl so close!
